Gloomy Truck Walkthrough

Gloomy Truck is a standard truck game where your objective is to transport cargo to the end of each stage. There is a total of nine levels in the game. Finish each level with at least one piece of cargo intact to unlock the next. If you allow all of the cargo to fall off of your truck, or if your truck takes too much damage, you will fail the level and have to restart it from its beginning. Although this truck game is relatively brief, your progress is saved so you will be able to continue from where you left off if you have to quit early.

Gloomy Truck uses a keyboard control scheme often found in truck games of its type. The up and down arrow keys are used to drive forward and backward respectively. The left and right arrow keys tilt your truck left and right, which is useful for driving up and down hills. Tilting your truck is also useful for keeping your cargo safely in the bed of your truck. If you prefer to use the WASD keys, you may use them instead. Finally, the spacebar is used to activate your handbrake. This is useful in instances where you have to quickly stop your truck.

If you want to earn a high score in Gloomy Truck, making it to the end of the level as quickly as possible is one way to score big points. Ending the level with all of your cargo intact and your truck in good condition is another way to score well. These two methods of scoring are often in opposition to each other. Speeding through levels may jolt cargo out of your truck's bed or cause you to take more damage in a crash, while trying to prevent crashing or cargo from spilling requires a slow, steady pace. If you are new to the truck game genre, I advise taking the slow, steady approach to earn points. You may not succeed in keeping all of your cargo, but at least a slow pace will increase your chances of reaching the goal with some cargo and your truck intact.

Gloomy Truck does not win points for originality, but it makes up for it with solid gameplay. This truck game earns an eight out of ten; not a groundbreaking game, but it has quality gameplay and well-designed graphics. If you are a fan of the truck game genre, then you won't want to miss this Gloomy Truck!
